They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.

I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.

Though i agree the ai thing is already in other forms of media there have been ai translations/scripts/voice over and even full ai commercials aired on tv. Ubisoft has created a ai game creator story/vo/music except the building of the game

EA is still a shady shitty company even with or without the help of Skynet. All they will use AI for is new ways to milk loot boxes and come up with the same sports title with a different year on the label. They are one company I truly do hate with a passion. They single handedly ruined some great franchise with their death touch. ME, Dead Space, Alice Returns, Dante's Inferno.

I having a feeling that most of the layoffs in the industry are based on the idea that AI will do the same job for less.

Made worse by the fact that the execs aren't changing their compensations.
My deepest fear at this point is that we are now in the capitalism endgame.
At this point, we really should just burn AI to the ground. Executives cannot be trusted to do the right thing.

Remember when EA used to be awesome? It's all over with now. Unpolished, if not out-right broken games these days. Endless monetization and gambling in their sports games, and let's not forget wasting hours of your life trying to unlock characters or equipment using "surprise boxes!"

I wouldn't give the MP honor to Black Ops in this comparison because it is limited to 18 players, even on the PC (why have dedicated servers and such a low player limit?). Sorry, but that is just too low for me. I'm doing 32 players on Bad Company 2 and won't be able to knock that in half and have as good a time. Plus, I don't like the killstreaks and all the camping in COD games. I'm leaning more towards MOH since I like DICE and the BF series more than COD. I also want to show my support for DICE and EA against all the BS they're getting for having the Taliban in MP. I'll probably end up getting both, but may wait till early next year for Black Ops and hopefully get it on sale.
black ops looks like mw2 just the guns look different and a few new features but ppl will disagree.. i think MOH will offer great content
Multiplayer on black op's looks really downsampled. compard to the SP. however on MOH the engine seems roughly the same on both SP/MP.

Besides Black Ops apparently having more content than Medal of Honor, I will have the MOH: Frontline HD remake on the disc too, so that's lots more content for me.
I would have gotten Black Ops for one reason only... Nazi Zombies... but last I heard it was the same NZ maps from World at War, so my enthusiasm took a big dive. Now, Bobby Kotick has reminded me why I should boycott all Activision games anyway, just like I boycotted MW2. The more realistic style of Medal of Honor gets my vote. F*** you, Kotick.
