Top 10 Zombie Shooting Games of all time

GR - Zombies are like Nazis, you simply can't get enough even by killing them over and over again. There aren't a ton of Zombie shooting games to choose from, but we've still managed to nitpick some of the best Zombie Shooter games released over the last 15-20 years.

How can you have a top 10 zombie shooting games and not include Resident Evil 4? Again, Fail. They had Resi 1 and 2 but 4 is the best in the series. I got into the series late and I recently Tried to play Resident Evil 1 and I can't play it without a walkthrough. I don't have the time or patience to figure out how to do it on my own.

Resident Evil 4... meh. That series peaked with RE2 as far as I'm concerned. I played RE4 for free and didn't care enough to finish it.

I Made a Game with Zombies in It is the best damn Zombie game for $1. I spent hours playing this, not to mention the song is very catchy and will keep you coming back.

Zombies games or movies to me arent about just shooting but surviving with your brains, physical attributes and the limited tools available.

There was an old PC game called ecstatica where you had to hide from this werewolf who would appear from time to time but would go away after a time. Would be nice to have a Zombie game where you can hide. Would be nice to incorporate hiding and barricading like in World at World but with little ammo but other weapons available with a large gaming world maybe even open world. Would be nice to also have driving segments where you get to drive through hordes of undead and keep from crashing and/or overturning. One day hopefully.

that an open world game like GTA or infamous would be a fun zombie type game.give it some mission structure of looking for supplies while hiding and RUNNING from zombies would be killer.

allow buildings to be entered and jumping across rooftops.no more top down zombie games.sure,i'll buy zombie nation,but it's still not what i want in a zombie game.l4d is close but not on ps3.and dead rising had the most stupid zombies i have seen to date.

plus DR1 is not a shooter and if you were shooting in it I'm amazed its shooting system sadly sucked. DR2 is a great improvement on that system.

Listen...if you know the lore...RE4's Illuminados died after the parasite took hold. Then, the parasite used the body as a host.

I like the original Resident Evil and all, but this writer needs to put a bit of criteria into his lists. Just because RE is historically significant doesn't mean that the first RE is the "best" zombie shooting game; it means it's the most historically significant. I'd much sooner put RE4 on top, RE2 over a mention of RE, and if I were to include another RE title, it would be Code: Veronica.
