It's based on a book written in 1933, so it can't be a rip-off of Uncharted. Inspired by? Maybe. Uncharted 2 could have inspired them to make a game based on the original story of Shangri La (Shambala).

But let's not pretend Naughty Dog wasn't inspired by Lost Horizon, too.

In fact, George Lucas probably got inspiration for Indiana Jones from Lost Horizon, whether directly or indirectly, I don't know, but Indiana Jones was definitely based on the action/adventure serial movie genre from the 30's, so it's very possible.

That was abble to combine the greatest things of any action/adventure game before it and elevate it and make it much better. Present it in a way that wasn't done before.

On the other hand this (Lost Horizon) is a straight rip-off of a single game that doesn't even make an effort to hide it.

Lost Horizon is an old novel which inspired many action adventure novels, films and games. I'm sure Uncharted was one of them.

If you watch the trailer there are a lot of environmental similarities.

Specifically near the end of UC2, the monastery, the mountains and chase scene in the mountains, and ice caves.

That and the characters also bear significant similarities of course. The main character being exactly the same but with blonde hair.

oh not this company.there budget devs. ive played there 2 games on pc this year .ghost sniper and some swat based game. fortunatly they have managed to get hold of the chrome engine 4 witch was used in a popular western game on all formats. the graphics are rich very well done. but the gameplay on these games. it lacks big style. very rough. not good as for comparison i can see why they think that. but look at the vid. not a touch on the uncharted 2 series let alone drakes fortune.
