Myself, for example, I bought my PS3 in January 2009, and I have yet to buy a COD game.

I did play MW2 last Jan (2010) on my little nephew's XBOX 360...my first play with a COD game.

I liked the single player, but after a few minutes of watching him go 18-0 and then 15-0 in the multiplayer, where he didn't die once because he safely sat in a bedroom and killed everything that moved.......I asked my nephew to put the single player back on.

That's my personal experience.

That, stacked on top of lesser interest in the FPS, overall, with more interest in other genres like Adventure. (See Batman AAs sales figures). Shooters sell well cause its the best multi experience racing games online are fun but u just get knocked of the track so shooters will sell better i tend to think most 360 gamers play online in paties as its a nice social experience were i think ps3 feels more solitary . ps3 owners dont buy their exclusives either i get em second hand.

simple, 360 owners are Big FPS fans, PS3 got more diversity. I'm not saying that ps3 is better, if you prefer FPS then buy a 360 not a ps3. You have halo and gears of war (TPS) exclusive on 360. These are great titles. most games are FPS on 360 because gamers like this.

I'm still thinking that we have too much FPS games coming, but that huge number of FPS games are why the genre always grow bigger and better!

1. 360 owners love SHOOTERS.
2. Call of Duty is a franchise for No0bs and the 360 has the most
3. PS3 and PC owners have other big name titles to play
4. it's been a long time between Halo's so what else are 360 owners gonna play
5. 360 owners only play games named Call of Duty or Halo
6. 360 has NO Games.
7. 360 last major release was Crackdown 2 nuff said

The adult truth, It's america, there are more 360's out there, it will sell more on the 360, DUH!! And as far as kids owning the 360, are you kidding me, look at the PS3 games ratchet and clank, little big planet, modnation racers, all for kids, 360 doesn't have kids games like this. I own all 3 systems and go online with all 3, and there are way more kids on PS3, it's not even close. It's amazing what you kids here will come up with to try and defend a videogame console. I refused to buy the game and was happy with that, but played the recent demo out of sheer weekend boredom - I thought I "couldn't care less" about this game, but after slogging through the tedium of that demo mission I realised I was wrong. I could understand the MW2 prestige edition as it had NV goggles which were cool. I know, I bought one but this for a remote controlled spy car? wtf?
