I played all of those nominees and Uncharted 2 gets about a full point rating above all those games. Uncharted 2 is the only game this generation so far that deserves a 10. I make a point to not give a 10, but for once the game deserves atleast a score between 9.5-10.

But Demon's Souls is the game that just continues to find it's way back into my PS3. I simply cannot shake the addiction

There are near infinite character builds to explore. And you can build your character to excel at PvE, PvP, both, or just make fun builds... like invading someone's game dual-wielding pick-axes or Meat Cleavers :)

Can't wait for DS2 / DLC. Great foundation was laid with the first game; I'd love to see how the devs improve on it.

Oblivion and Mass Effect deserve mention as well.

Probably Halo 3 just because it's supported so well. There are always new maps to try thanks to the Forge and tons of game modes as well. I typically get bored with every game at some point but Bungie keeps it fresh enough where if I could only pay 1, it would have to be Halo 3. Although that doesn't mean it's the best game of this generation.

As far as my "favorite" game this generation it would have to be Fallout 3 so far.

My personal best this generation so far is Forza Motorsport #3, but there is loads of other interesting games out there so kind of unfair to pick just one, other titles that i place high in regard is SMG 1, Uncharted 1, Ratchet & Clank, Gears Of War, God Of War, Lost Odyssey, Tales Of Vesperia, Demon Souls.

But the best is yet to come and for now it have a scheduled November release PD`s GT 5

This is utter drivel, even for a subjective poll as a fair few potentially outstanding games haven't been released yet and a fair number of titles are yet to be created before this gen is anyway near over.

Polls/awards/peoples favourites etc should be catergorised to carry validity i.e best RPG/best kiddies game/best shooter/best platformer/best MMO etc... basic.
