"Sony has had a tremendous year with its Playstation 3 console. Thanks to a renewed marketing push, a series of blockbuster exclusives and a very strong E3 conference, the company looks set to dominate retail once again in this console generation. But despite all of the great headlines, why do sales of the PS3 continue to lag behind Microsoft's arguably under-powered console?
Game Rant chats with the creator of No More Heroes about who he would like to see play the role of Travis Touchdown in a live-action adaptation.
Actually Ryan Gosling makes a ton of sense.
Edit: If this can be done in a Scott Pilgrim movie kind of way that would be dope.

Do you really think Americans buy on console's nationality? The reason is the 360 is cheap has a famous online service and lots of best exclusives in the market and multi-plats (Multiplat games tend to perform better in 360) that cater for both hardcore and casual markets.
I think two factors help to explain the discrepancy in North America: The gaming culture here is much more focused on shooters, Microsoft has spent a lot of money targeting NA, and the Arcade SKU has inexplicably sold really well here.
The same reason the PS3 outsells the 360 in Japan
I don't think PS3 really needs to catch up 360 in US. I don't want SCE publishes a bunch of generic shooters to catch 360 up in US, either.
Let's see what will happen to GT5 with NASCAR in it. If nothing happens, then SCE can forget US.
I think that in North America people want to game with their friends and their friends own a 360. My neighbor was telling me his brother just got a 360 for college because he was the lone PS3 owner in his group of friends. Now he owns both consoles. I own both, I have friends who also one either one or the other. Most of the people I actually hang out with own the 360, though.
