Maybe, but nobody was quite sure what 3DS looked like or if it was even technically as good as an iphone... Nintendo delivered.

Still getting portal 2 on PC, the features steam brings like their cloud service should really be brought to the whole system by sony themselves, and it is pathetic xbox live doesnt have it. But I think by the end of this console cycle they will have it... Leaving you wondering why you're using steam for this 1 game...

We all knew, or some of us, that the 3DS would look just like the other ds systems. It was no shocker. The biggest shocker was Gabe's fat ass wobbling on stage. Next, I would say 360s.

Nintendo fans have been starving for good games (eventhough not 1 original ip was announced)so it just seems like they won to them, but to everyone else they were 2nd place. Sony announced just as many blockbuster ips, plus new ones. Then the Valve deal, more solid footage of the Move,and PS+ details, and it's over as far as any real gamer is concerned.

I will call it a draw between Sony and Nintendo.

Nintendo floored me with the amount of hardcore games. They were smart as MS went for the casual market and Sony went for the midway point of hardcore/casual market so Nintendo went for the hardcore market.

But did Nintendo win. Sony showed lots of games like Nintendo but Sony didn't have 2 or 3 years of poor showings and then pull off a stunner of a conference which surprised everyone. I think that surprise gave the an edge.

Sony showed some good MOVE games which got me interested to a point I am putting away cash for the whole bundle. Valve appearance was huge with Portal 2 and a form of steam coming to the PS3.

I would get a wii and a 3DS but I have 12 games still to get through on my PS3 from the massive releases for the last 6 months.

cause when I think mindless sequels Donkey Kong country, Dragon Quest 70 million (it's the same shit kids), and Goldeneye never come to mind. When I think inferior audio sony with that 7.1 surround is the top of the list, and definitely with outdated controls, I totally block that zelda presentation out of my mind.

Every market was well represented at E3 by industry to varying degrees. For me, I'm just hoping for a continued competition in the hardcore gaming arena.

Interesting how 'she' doesnt ave intersest in Kinect..but can't even bring herself to understand that is was meant for those same 'casual followers' she could see Nintendo trying to get..

Basically, the forum post is full of hypocrisy from someone who obviously doesnt like what the 360 has to offer. Which, is why I say Micrsoft actually hit it on the nail..When people like 'Lady Luck' blow off Halo Reach and Gear of War 3 as experiences that could have been on a trailer than there is no reason as a gamer to take her seriously.

Microsoft did everything by the numbers..they got bashed by the press..Nintendo and Sony suprisingly made a lot of the EXACT same mistakes and got passes for it..

So at the end of the day..the true winners are going to be what the individual gamers believe appealed to them for their system..

Microsft showed their biggest franchises that MILLIONS are fans of and will be purchasing this and the next year..

At the end the day..that is what E3 is about
