THQ Fails to Deliver

Back in February, it was announced that those early copies of Darksiders that came with a special slip of paper with a promo code on them would grant buyers a free copy of Red Faction: Guerrilla, as well as a “digital Hellbook” full of Darksiders artwork. That hasn't exactly proved to be the case.

i purchased darksiders for the ps3 but I requested red faction for the 360 and still received the ps3 version. check my bio before you accuse me of anything tool.

PS3 version. It took a bit longer than expected and I received no confirmations of any sort so I thought I had somehow missed the deadline. But one day I got a random package and sure enough there was RFG.

Gotta say that I enjoyed both games a lot althought I'm sure that had something to do with the price (40 and free).

Oh well, I alredy rented RFG and I returned Darksiders for $ towards Heavy Rain. Not much of a loss to me, but a free game is a free game. And I was getting close to that platinum on RFG too. =/

I wanted Red faction anyway so getting it free was a big plus

For $19.42, including tax, you can get Red Faction: Guerrilla used and you don't even have to put up with Darksiders! :D

And both were pretty good. IMO But I admit that Darksiders fell short of my expectations.

yeah darksiders last battle was horrible that was one easy ass boss and i hope this time for the PS3 version they dont give it a 360 control layout i hate using R2 to shoot.

I too was getting worried and exchanged a few emails with them and threatened to file a charge dispute with my credit card company. I received the game shortly after.

I didn't even open the game until last night (haven't had time), played if for a few hours and it's not a bad game but it probably wasn't worth the stress.

Apparently I had 'perpetual downloads' checked so they refunded my card for that.

Took em a while and I didn't think the game was coming, but it eventually did and it was free so no complaints here.

because when I placed my order, there was no where in the store where i saw the picture they displayed on that article.

I got mine mid-April along with the digital artbook on a dvd. Thing is, it seems like there's something the article is omitting on this situation.
