N4G Sol Survivor Steam Key Giveaway

Thanks to Dylan Barker at Cadenza Interactive, we have a couple Steam Keys for the newly released PC version of their XBLA title, Sol Survivor!

Because we have a very limited number of keys, commenting below will enter you in a drawing to be held at Midnight tonight (PST). Winners will be notified via PM with their key by Noon (PST) tomorrow, March 17.

Sol Survivor was a Top 6 Dream.Build.Play finalist for 2009. A Turret Defense game where you construct a stationary defense to protect your colonies from the advancing enemy horde, you deploy stationary turrets, drop in support from orbital weapons platforms, and crush those who would dare to attack you. Play in one of several locations and unique worlds, each with a different look and feel.  Battle with advanced creeps who use unique strategies to bypass your defenses. Engage friends in co-operative or competitive multiplayer modes that challenge the limits of traditional turret defense.

This is like Plants vs Zombies but with turrets. This game looks addictive enough for me to jump to another type of tower defense game bandwagon. I have to get my hands on this baby.

Unlike those looking for free stuff, I am actually looking to get this game from Steam before the contest occured. As an avid fan of Tower Defense games Sol Survivor looks like just the thing! especially after the excellent Defense: The Awakening.

I would love to win the game, but I think I may buy the game regardless just to support the developers of these great titles.

As a huge fan of tower defense games I couldn't be more excited about the release. This is a great way building awareness for this title. Hopefully some of us who don't receive keys will still look into buying the game and supporting the developers. I've heard great things about the 360 version and can't wait to play it one way or another. At $9.99 on Steam it's still a deal for anyone who doesn't get a key.

Though I'd still love to be considered for one ;)
