, we have 5000 beta keys to give out for the closed beta of their upcoming MMORPG, Heroes of Three Kingdoms!

Announced today, Heroes of Three Kingdoms (known as the Chibi in China) is based on one of history’s greatest battles and not only gives players the opportunity to experience the chaos first hand, but also the chance to rewrite pivotal moments in Chinese history.

To get your closed beta key, just PM me. A beta key will be sent within 24 hours (worst case scenario ;) ) to your N4G PM inbox.

Instructions on How to Redeem
1) Go to www.perfectworld.com
2) Log in using your Perfect World Entertainment username and password
3) Click on the "My Account" link
4) Click on "Redeem Beta Keys"
5) Enter your closed beta key

The Closed Beta is set for April, 2010. Getting your key now will guarantee your spot.

Three Kingdoms fans will be glad to know that a new weapon, the War Fan, has been released in Perfect World Entertainment's Heroes of Three Kingdoms.

Known commonly as the "weapon" of Zhuge Liang (Kongming), war fans were used as signalling devices for strategists; in HOTK, the War Fan offers much more.

A few weeks ago, I submitted some curious questions to the team at Perfect World Entertainment. To my delight, AJ Potter, Product Manager for Heroes of Three Kingdoms, took some time out of his schedule to participate in an email Q&A session. Between my submission to PWE and the posting of this article, Heroes of Three Kingdoms has undergone the transition into Open Beta. Potter and the rest of Perfect World Entertainment have learned some valuable lessons during the Closed Beta phase, and Potter provides some insight into the game’s growth and future.
