Blade And Soul Confirmed For Xbox 360/PS3 In 2011

Indeed NCSoft has a deal with Sony and the article does NOT say 360 just the title. I think this is taken out of context I think we should wait for official word. NCSoft are designing 2 MMORPG's for the PS3 exclusively and this could be one. Guild wars 2 is the other (hopefully :p).

Funny how they say this is one of the most talked about MMO's because I have never heard of it.

The only real MMO's that I hear people talking about that are not yet out are Blizzards next MMO and Final Fantasy XIV.

sony didnt push hard enough and ncsoft was doing their own thing really dismissing the consoles for a while..

@Sangria look at the articles source you listed. they updated the article at the request of NCsoft. The title in development was called "MOG" and very little to no info was revealed about this game. That is the game that was canceled.

MMO's always look awesome prior to release. It's only when they are actually released and have been up and running for a while is when you'll know if it is actually any good.

I've lost count of the number of MMO's that I've played that looked awesome but were a disappointment with Aion being the most recent.

meaning, that there are some amazing combos, yet when they start, there is gooing to be some problems trying to strike back. and im kindof worried about the gameplay on consoles, i wonder how theyare going to set up the control scheme, especially since the formula follows a series of hot keys "commands" on how the player executes his moves. and since most players dont have a keyboard for there console, how will we follow such combat in difficult times when hotkeys aren't in place. will they force us in some way or how, to buy a keyboard, or how will this work?

That's under the assumtion that the game will have loads of abilities standard to each class/race of character following the Blizzards World of Warcraft formula.

Unfortunately, we don't know enough about the game. I've only seen trailers and no actual gameplay with an actual HUD and the Beta isn't supposed to start for Korea until spring I believe. However, I suspect something a bit different from the ability riddled Aion/World of Warcraft styles and some more ability lite, such as Kingdom Hearts if it is truly full-active.

Kingdom Hearts used only a handful of abilities controlled in a pop-down submenu, however you could "hotkey" specific abilities to the face buttons to use in pinches. Perhaps NcSoft will adopt and improve this method.

awesome, now to debate whether to get it on ps3 or my comp.....hmmm if me and gf get it on comp we can play in same house, but cnt if we get it on ps3.....tho then we wudnt have to worry about her running on max settings without slowdown......hmmmm choices....dammit!!!! i guess if its played with a keyboard still will be what determines it lol
