I want KOTOR 3, but a sequel to the obscure survival-horror game 'Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth' would make me very happy. If you haven't played that game, you can't legitimately call yourself a horror game fan :D

I remember that one. Great game. Great atmosphere. Great immersion. One of the more engrossing FPS games I've played.

When the studio shut down I heard they had to cancel a bunch of spin-offs and sequels. :/

That's contra-productive. If you want a new Shenmue, buy ALL Sega titles. Shenmue is one of the most expensive games to make, they need the money.

I still have my DC with both Shenmues. Those are one of the best games ever. I felt overwhelming emptiness when I finished Shenmue 2 and realized there won't be a sequel. It's that good.

Shenmue 3 and KotOR 3 at the top spots. Pretty much sums up my most wanted.

I do not however consider ME some "pale shadow" of it. Honestly, I wasn't too hot on the idea of Bio ditching SW to make up their own game, but ME came off a lot better than I expected.

TOR on the other hand... well, let's just see.

Oh yes, and I want that TES V too. Single-player please. Not MMO.

I thought I was the only one. Love this game. A current gen version would be great. Especially now with games like Uncharted having honed 3rdPS's to perfection. Just give him some powers now.

I don't know why people pretend like Shenmu was OMGWTF BEST GAME EVAR.

It was a very mediocre RPG disguised beneath hours of terrible voice acting and completely pointless mini-games.

the story made it special and the environment. the voice acting was off but somehow it wasnt bothersome most of the time. sometimes it was just funny. but the combat felt great and most of the time you didnt have to do the mini games.

oh one that missed how great shenmue felt at the time .. a good story with a good battle system ..and one game that made QTE popular ..that how huge shenmue is ...

@teenie: What are you, kidding? It was one of the most ambitious titles of its day.

You take it for granted now with all these open world games, but there was nothing even remotely like it at the time. The game was anything but standard fare. The full 3D environments... faithfully recreating a living, breathing town in Japan; capturing the zeitgeist of that generation; using REAL weather patterns gathered from historical data; Yu Suzuki's arcade classics right there in the game; AND online connectivity.

But no, it was just a QTE fest. /s

Go for Shenmue II dreamcast version. The japanese voices are more lively than the english dubs (by far one of the worst dubs in history).

KOTOR 2 was better. But seriously, give me KOTOR 3. TOR is a huge slap in the face, considering they can't even give us a decent art style that fits with the universe. Let Obsidian make it and give them the damn development time they need.

Giving KOTOR to obsidian is in no way like giving COD to Treyarch and you're a complete tit for even suggesting that. People have always exaggerated about the extent of KOTOR 2's flaws and blame them completely on Obsidian. Considering Obsidian was being rushed out the wazoo by Lucasarts to deliver by Christmas I think they did an admirable job. Obsidian has the talent, and they have the potential. Remember, they're made up mostly from the development team that did the first 2 Fallouts and Planescape torment.

And to 8.1 I was mostly joking about the better part, however I did like the overall plot, darkness, and characters over KOTOR. That's why it's my favorite of the two.

As far as Shenmue goes I'd be happy with a book or something that let me know how the story ended. I'd like a game, but just tell me what happens with Ryu and Lan Di.

You fail for not understanding the awesomeness of that game. It managed to combine elements of a fps, third person hack and slash, and the over the top rpg menu casted move similar to final fantasy except you were free to move during combat. The story wasn't amazing but it was decent and I think a newly fashioned sequel on a next gen system would truly be awesome if enough people got their heads out of something like MW2's ass to enjoy something that didn't come packaged with a big ass can of hype.

Demons Souls, Twisted Metal Black, War of the Monsters, Waverace/Jet Moto, Jumping Flash, Fighting Force, Medievel, Hydro Thunder....Some may have sequels but i'd like to see these franchises reborn

Nice list! Twisted Metal, Jet Moto, Jumping Flash and Fighting Force all deserve new entries.

I would also like Loaded/Re-Loaded to get a next gen overhaul, South Park FPS to make a comeback and Resident Evil to go back to being scary.

Especially kotor 3. Kotor 2 added a lot of interesting plot lines to the story, but never really solved any of them. We need some real closure. WE NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS TO REVAN AND THE EXILE!!!!
