No we DONT need guitar hero or rockband. These games have had 7+titles each console cycle and Im tired of these being the mainstream and practically only focused on musical game.
Amplitude was brought back for PS4 yet with the tech and magic of DLC we didnt get it because not only gamers but devs have become out of touch.
Thumper impressed many and is at least a step in the right direction. I rather have more games like thumper. So screw all this rockband and Guitar hero BS! Take your guitars and peripherals and break them in half!

I preferred the patapon games but yeah. We need rhythm games to come back this gen
Led Zeppelin = EPIC! Who ever makes the first Zeppelin game (not track) will get my money.
I consider it a personal sign of the apocalypse if Rock Band/GH released a Pink Floyd game. Never thought I'd be happy for the dissention between Gilmour and Waters to exist. And while Led and Sabbath are my other favs, I was much less optimistic about them. Seeing how Page and Iommi usually prostitute their wares to the highest bidders, this is refreshing to see.
Years ago I could zay Zeppelin is pissing is pants, another rockstar bashing a popular game, but now I feel such decision is a good thing. Activision must stop [insert instrument] Hero games. Three Guitar Hero games per year is not a sane choice.
After Guitar Hero Van Halen, Guitar Hero Metallica, Guitar Hero Aerosmith, what will be the next? Guitar Hero Iron Maiden? Guitar Hero Scorpions? Guitar Hero AC/DC? Guitar Hero Rolling Stones? Guitar Hero Sex Pistols? Guitar Hero Nickelback? Guitar Hero Linkin Park? Guitar Hero Paramore? Guitar Hero Flyleaf? Guitar Hero Black Rebel Motorcycle Club?
Enough already. Activision need to stop their politic of "too much games, too much money" and rather focus on quality games. And that's available for non-rythm games as well.
People should be happy GH isnt getting it . If even one franchise deserved such stars and would treat them with respect , it would be Rockband .
