"Of course Warhead has been under development for quite some time, and we had no desire or intention to disappoint our loyal PC fans. So, after some careful consideration, we decided to continue our support for the PC Crysis franchise with this release. But yes, all new franchises we develop in the future will be created with a cross platform strategy in mind."
Mana surges back to life after all these years.
Duuro says: "In its current state, I cannot recommend Lawn Mowing Simulator VR to anyone and I will go as far as to say that you should completely avoid this game."

Crytek: We are pleased to announce Crysis 2 exclusively on PC, we promise that next time we make a game, itll be multiplatform!
well as much as i love cryteks work it has to be done, crysis was one of the most pirated games last year which is not good for returns in revenue.
i bort my special edition copy and so should the others because its the people that pay lose out e.g. future titles and restrictions on software
play by the rules and we will get more
its no wonder there are porting it to consoles they can't afford the loses plus no PC can emulate the ps3 or 360 and nobodies chipped the ps3. personally for me and possibly crytek its a genius move
Come on guys it is so blatantly obvious that Crytek are going multiplatform no matter what happens. It doesn't matter if the 60 million Dx10 card owners all went out and bought a copy of Crysis they would still go multiplatform. The simple reason is why shouldn't they ? there is no corporation to lock them into being a PC only developer. It is insane for any developer to ignore a marketplace of nearly 25 million games machines unless they are offered a financial incentive too.
Just don't put this down to "piracy" that is what they want you to think, it has NOTHING to do with piracy and everything to do with them wanting to make a buck or two. Now I have nothing against them doing that but at least come out and admit you are sell outs rather than try to cloud things with the "piracy" crap.
I can't say I will shed a tear though, I bought Crysis and paid £30 for what ammounts to nothing more than a tech demo that was badly optimised (ran like crap on my quad with 8800gts and 3gbs). Oh and no I won't be bothering with Crysis Warhead I do not fancy being ripped off again for yet another badly optimised tech demo.
firstly i was saying it was coming to consoles this is because of piracy
secondly it does not play like crap on my system (own built system)and differnet cards
ATI Radeon X1950 pro
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+
4GB 800MHz 6400 DDR2
at medium ran fine
ATI Radeon HD 3870
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+
4GB 800MHz 6400 DDR2
beside low frames from time to time it was fine on high
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+
4GB 800MHz 6400 DDR2
now with my gtx (major overclock for no cooling system) it runs very smooth 52fps, 1280 X 1024 at very high
btw i would consider that you go to crymod for tweaks plus overclock your card with rivatuner
"In terms of development for the consoles, this is certainly a logical step for us with the CryEngine 2 supporting multiplatforms,"
Loose translation "we can see bucket's of cash in a quick crappy console port so we are gonna do it".
of coarse they are bringing it to consoles it would be dumb not to
plus i can play it higher than 1280 X 1024 (plus it is widescreen just stretchers the image but can play at 4:3 as well) at 1920 X 1080p (at 27fps) but i use the hdmi on my hdtv for my ps3
i did work hard for my cards my laster 9800 GTX only cost £195 (cclonline.com)
plus the frames from my 3870 was 30 on average (at 1024 X 768) but now it is 52fps at 1280 X 1024 on GTX
the overclocking is relatively safe as most gpu will require a restart at 80 degrees but can take 120
the tweaks are very good would consider them big improvement after tweaks on gtx compared to before
also get updates for your card from nvidia
