The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth combat director has expressed that he wants the final part in the trilogy to offer players "even more freedom".
I love the game so far but please don’t make the final part a mini game fest
Everytime I get to a new part in Rebirth it’s “mini game time”
Wccf tech writes: "Kingdom Come Deliverance 2's scope was impacted by the Xbox Series S hardware limitations, as developers could only make a game that was 25% bigger than its predecessor."
More info from the author of the article, I think: https://www.reddit.com/r/ki...
Quote:
"1) I was told this info from the producer of the game Martin Klíma.
2) He specifically said the game will have only one mode.
3) And this mode is 4K 30 on PS5/XSX and 1440p 30 on XSS.
4) He said that the game is already running north of the 30 FPS cap so the performance should be stable on launch, much better than KCD1.
5) The limitation was XSS because of the 10GB memory. He said that's why they wanted to make the game 25% larger.
6) Speculation on my part: the output resolution is probably upscaled and the reason why there won't be a 60 FPS mode is because it'll most likely be very CPU heavy, like Dragon's Dogma 2 for example."
Doesn't seem like they're adding a 40fps mode on PS5/Series X for launch even if they can handle it.
Come celebrate the 1-year anniversary of Diablo IV and the 2-year anniversary of Diablo Immortal! There are heaps of rewards to mark these celebrations with a bounty of devilish goods across both games.
1 more month then I can celebrate 1 year since i stopped playing and uninstalled the game.
The current pace of things by October 2024 we're looking at around 60 Million PS5's and 29-30 Mill Series X|S.
Damn can only imagine November, December and January 2024 PS5 sale number it's going to be insane.
No supply issues any more and PS5 is outselling Xbox over 3-1.
Xbox is in decline and further decline is expected.
Some were expecting a massive jump in sales for Xbox because of Starfield but they still lost by a large margin(-1million) even without any major games to compete against last month.
Most of us don’t give a crap about gamepass and that’s MS’s main focus hence the declining sales of Xbox. MS is going full digital rental service sub at some point but it’s a big mistake imo.
People want options even if they don’t use them all.
Things are going to be so different when Nintendo Switch 2 comes out and Nintendo’s market share goes back to zero.
History shows that every month after September, straight until February, provides bigger sales number than the month before.
If PS5 estimates now already sit at 1.6 million for the month of September, you really have to wonder where PS5 sales will be sitting at for the months of October, November, December and January.
Additionally:
Starting with October, sales estimates will be affected by Spiderman 2, then PS5 Slim, then PSPR, Black Friday & Christmas Season and, as a little icing on the cake, at Video Game Awards in December it's possible to even get one or two suprise announcements, too.
Sony's forecast for the fiscal year '23 was at 25 million PS5's sold. Now, I really think they will achieve it. Maybe even ~26m.
But either way: Well done!
