The Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC expansion may not release this fiscal year, judging from FromSoftware's parent company Kadokawa's latest financial report.
Elden Ring's DLC will turn back to its Dark Souls roots of verticality and is "not quite open field" as it was before.
Good. I prefer the traditional style and if the dlc provides more of that then I will be very happy.
The launch of Elden Ring’s DLC is going to be one of the biggest events in gaming this year. It marks the one and only expansion to the Lands Between, and is going to punctuate one of the most successful games of all time. Yet, a majority of players are not even going to be able to play the DLC thanks to the starting requirements.
Good, like for everything in From Software game it required player to sweat to get his reward.
I'm ready. I'm 13% away from platinum, just waiting for the DLC to release to top it off.
No surprise there since most DLCs require a certain amount of playthrough in the main story in order to access it.
How very maidenless
It's fine, take your sweet time. We have Armored Core and plenty of other games til then.
So its gonna be a good one with plenty of content.
Quality cannot be rushed.
If any company has earned the good will to take their sweet time with a release, it's FromSoft, and every DLC they've ever released for the Souls games has always delivered the goods, both in gameplay and in expanding the lore. 2024 is gonna be lit.
Let Miyazaki cook, its gonna be tasty.
