Epic Games Store will randomly ask users to rate games to prevent review bombing

I didnt mind this method. It shows up in the launcher briefly in the corner.

Also I think you have to own the game and the review is mostly a one click yes or no question.

Curious to ask, what games do you play then? What parts do you have in your PC? Are they all indie games played on a PC of homemade parts?

I, personally, do not have any idealistic ideologies when it comes to gaming. Whether a big billion dollar corporation or one person develops a game, as long as it’s good, I’ll buy it. I think every game deserves to be subject to fair reviews from people that played it.

I stopped looking at user review scores when I found out about review bombing. Congrats on being so pathetic that you make the official critics look professional. Do you know how bad you have to be to make gaming media look legit? Bad. The metrics are as useless as the dorks making them.

I usually give them a quick glance to see if there some sort of controversy. Then I check and see whether it's something worth worrying about. It's a good way to spot a buggy or a f2p game in disguise. But a lot of the time it's just some silly nonsense.

Review systems are broken so this is worth a try . There should be a little more depth to it but it’s a start .

If someone has thousands of hours playing games in a similar genre, I suspect they would be able to 1-star a terrible game in much less time than 2 hours. If there is a 2-hour limit to refund games like there is on Steam, then this seems like a ploy to simply reduce the number of negative reviews to hopefully sell more games.

But hey, at least they show reviews. On the PlayStation Android app, their store has no reviews so I have to search separately to see if some cheap game I've heard nothing about is any good or not.
