Robert Workman (Opshead): The 2000’s were a great time for video games. We grew accustomed to new hardware like the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360, and saw developments that took off like never before. Goodbye to the classic 32 and 64-bit – and hello to mature gaming as we know it today. Not only for consoles, as the “PC master race” also blossomed with its fair share of franchises.
Here are the ten most influential games that ruled the 2000s.
Here is a look at all the confirmed PlayStation 5 Pro-enhanced game that are know of so far, featuring first-party games, and more.
Did I read this right that some of the partners will release free updates so others might charge for it? This level of greed is getting absurd. Many games got paid next generation update so I guess now that’s a thing
In my personal opinion
I see NOOOOOOOOOO difference in graphics comparing it to regular PS5 graphics...I'll pass until PS6
I didn’t watch the reveal, but expected ~100 games on that list. There are only 14 titles?
WTH were they thinking?
Dragonflight may have drawn to a close but it’s time to recognize just how important it was in securing the future of the game.
What ??? If nearly made everyone leave for good with its weird furry/scaley centric crap
DSOG : At Gamescom 2024, NVIDIA presented a new demo for Half-Life 2 RTX. So, below, you can find a video showcasing 50 minutes of brand new gameplay footage from it. So, if you are interested in it, I highly recommend watching it.
Have to love the PC modding scene. Constantly turning old games to new, and not charging you for remasters and remakes. I have played amazing releases like Enderal, Nameless Mod, and Fallout London that truly did deserve to be full-on retail releases.
Can't remember the last time I played a quality first person shooter. Miss those A to B shooters, rather than have all the faffing on. But never understood Half-Life. Can't remember much of the first game, but the sequel on Xbox bored me. I guess some gamers have bad taste.
Would of had Halo 2 in here to be fair.
Resident Evil 4. Over the shoulder camera has influenced the entire TPS genre.
I would have taken out Morrowind or fallout 3 and replaced it with halo 1 or 2
Mirrors edge? Prince of persia?
Some of these choices just strike me as dumb. KOTOR predates Mass Effect as Bioware's breakout success and Morrowind was out before Oblivion.
