Microsoft: Windows 8 Major Improvements Beginning Soon

Microsoft is gearing up to debut what it referred to as major improvements for Windows 8, designed to take file access in branch offices to the next level. Even if Windows 7 is still in pre-RC stage, with the Escrow for the Win 7 Release Candidate, Build 7077, out the door, Microsoft has already confirmed that it is looking past the next iteration of Windows. The focus on branch office scenarios related to file access simply comes to offer official confirmation that the Redmond company's strategy for Windows client and server platforms stretches well over Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, even though the two operating system releases are yet to be finalized.

Based on the comments by haters one can see the lack of knowlege of a development process. Comments like that wouldn't be made by people that actually have an idea what they are talking about.

Let me try to explain...

Windows 7 already have many months that came out of alpha, beta and other release candidates... at that point no new features are added to the product... but that's not all... usually people in charge of the design and those who determine what features the product will support are rareless involve in the actual implementation, development and optimization of the product source code.

So, it's obviously natural and obvious for a company to have these engineers working in other products instead of sitting on their hands....

Also note.. that a company talking about the next product does not necessary means that they are actually writing any code... but that it's on the planning stage...

This is something done by all companies... even Sony... Oracle.. IBM... etc...

if companies wait until a product is design, created, optimized and released before actually starting to plan for the next product... not only many people will be sitting on their hands doing nothing while getting paid... but things would take longer.. and lots of oportunities would be lost.

I hope I am confusing many of you ignorants haters... please try to stay with me... let me try to explain...

Making the product and creating a draft of the next product... how is that? well... during the first product development.. developers create a list of improvements and features that they would like to release but they can't for wherever reason... So, by default.. developers are left with many ideas and improvements for the next iteration...
